VBS 2019: ROAR! Life is Wild, God is Good!
Vacation Bible School at St James is July 8-11! We’ll discover that no matter how wild our lives get, God is Good!
The Little Paws Preschool session is held in the mornings 9:30-noon. Big Cats VBS for kids leaving Kindergarten through 4th Grade is in the evenings 6:00-8:30.
Serving opportunities abound for kids and adults 5th grade and older! Register attendees and volunteers all at the same site!

Where do your gifts fit? Everywhere at VBS! Volunteer positions and descriptions are available in our registration system, or look for the bulletin insert or on the Children’s Ministry bulletin board at church. We hope you’ll join us. (Childcare available upon request!)
Kids Connect in the Summer
At St. James, we don’t think there is ever a time where we should take a vacation from teaching children about Jesus. However, summertime is a great time for families to travel — near and far, which means our class sizes shrink considerably. We recognize that our Sunday small group leaders also like this time to relax with their families. As such, we condense our Kids Connect classrooms into 2 active classes and Nursery service.
Starting in July, kids having just completed grades 1-5 will meet in Room 6. Each Sunday, a different one of our grade school leaders or I will be leading the activities. Our 3 year old preschoolers are invited to join us in Nursery, or if they are ready for more sit-down time, they are welcome to try their time with the PreK/Kindergarten leaders in Room 9. Summertime is a perfect time for preschoolers to test out their endurance in the PreK class. If you’re wondering… we “promote” all the kids to their next class year in September.
