Confirmation

Our confirmation program is for 7th and 8th graders who are looking to affirm the promises that were made over them in baptism. This is a time of learning and growth that aims to equip our young people to be followers of Jesus in this world.

Senior High

Our Senior High Youth Group is for all high school youth grades 9-12. This group meets regularly to grow in community and faith, as well as to have fun and serve the larger community.

Mission Trips

Our youth love to travel to various places to be the hands and feet of Christ to those in need. Most recently they have traveled to Fayetteville, West Virginia and Breathitt County, Kentucky on work mission trips.

July 13th – 20th, 2024 in New Orleans!

Every three years, thousands of high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning, worship, Bible study, service and fellowship, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives.

The ministry of the Gathering is excited to partner with Young Adult Ministries to host the first-ever ELCA Young Adult Gathering for individuals who will be 18-35 at the time of the Gathering. Additionally, 2 pre-events, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE), a faith formation and leadership development event primarily for youth of color, and the tAble, a gathering that brings together, blesses and empowers youth with disabilities. This event repeats every 3 years for all youth in grades 8 through 12. For more information on these events, contact Janet Hilsmier.
