Current Events in Family Ministry

Family Ministry + Music Ministry = Joyful Noise!

Eve Keane, our Director of Music will be joining us in Kids Connect this year to teach the children a song they can sing in Worship. Each month or season we’ll try to feature one song; probably on Communion Sundays. The kids in Ms Michelle’s class are currently practicing a song about the Books of the Bible; we’ll expand this opportunity for children interested. Parents, we hope you’ll give your kids some encouragement to give this opportunity a try. We look forward to hearing them sing.

Middle school and high school students are invited to join the younger kids - or even make some time to join the Praise Band or Choir to sing with the adults. Singing and playing instruments are a wonderful way to worship together. Questions? See Eve Keane or Janet Hilsmier.

Acolytes Wanted

We’re inviting kids in 3rd grade through 12th to help us begin and end our 9AM worship service with the lighting of candles at the altar (plus Advent and Easter candles during the appropriate seasons.) Please add your child’s name(s) to the sign up sheet on the Christian Ed bulletin board in the church hallway.

Apple Festival - October 11

Join us on October 11 for our annual Apple Festival. Begin with an all-you-can-eat “Apple Streusel” Pancake breakfast, check out the Vendor Fair featuring crafted items, take your chances at winning a variety of prizes from our Silent Auction, pick up some fresh baked goods from the Bake Table. It’s too lovely to stay indoors, be sure to check out the outdoor Vendor Fair, Flea Market and Kid Zone for kids games and activities. Kid Zone hours: 10am-2pm. Live music 10am-2pm. If breakfast is too early, we’ll be offering lunch items from 10am-2pm.

Tickets are available for presale at the church or at the event. Proceeds go to support Mission Trips and local charities.

Trunk or Treat

Join us for a fun costumed event on October 26 from 4-6pm. Show off your Halloween costumes, get some candy or treasures at our Candy Lane featuring decorated trunks. Grab some dinner in Fellowship Hall too! This is a free event!
