True North Volunteer Training

Thank you for volunteering with us at St James! Each summer we host our vacation Bible school for upwards of 75 children from our community. This is a free VBS for children in PREK through 5th grade. We welcome additional youth in grades 6 and up to participate as volunteers.

Volunteers are key to the success of our summer ministry and we are so grateful for you!

We know that your schedules are full — some of you are working full time, some of you might be working part time or filling your summer days and evenings with loads of activities for your family. With that in mind, I’ve assembled a training document - flipbook style - for you to review to know the what-why-how-where’s of VBS at St James.

I’ve also attached a Crew Leader training video created by Group Publishing, our curriculum provider. It’s fun and informative!
