Youth News: November 2026

Christmas at St James

This year, we’ll set up and decorate our Christmas Tree on Sunday, November 22 after Advent Crafts have completed. Meet us in Fellowship Hall to retrieve the tree and decorations and we’ll head into the Sanctuary. I will be collecting information from youth regarding our Christmas Eve Worship service.

Now that Pastor Chris has two congregations to lead, he has adjusted our worship schedule to accomodate both congregations. Christmas Worship will be at 5:30PM and 9:30PM. As such, we no longer have a dedicated Youth Led Worship, but are leaning into a youth participated service at 9:30PM. That means, we’ll be looking for youth to sign up as:

  • Acolyte (1)

  • Ushers (2)

  • Communion Assistants (2)

  • Readers (>1)

  • participants in a creative Call to Worship… this may look like a short skit; not a full length sermon.

  • musicians/singers - if you would like to accompany John Green, please let us know
