Worshiping Together

Oh come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1

Worship is not only something we do privately, it is also a gift we share as the body of Christ. When we gather together, we remind one another that we are part of something larger than ourselves. Our voices, prayers, and hearts join together in giving glory to God.

There is strength in worshiping alongside others. In seasons when our own faith feels weak, the faith and praise of our brothers and sisters can encourage us. Together, we celebrate God’s goodness, bear one another’s burdens, and encourage each other to remain faithful. The ministries of the church happen when God uses all our gifts together.

Of course, there will be times when we can’t be in worship. Having the ability to watch the livestream or watch on YouTube is a very helpful option.

But, may we never take our times of gathered worship for granted. As we sing, pray, listen, and fellowship together, may our hearts be drawn closer to God and to one another.

Lord God, You created us to worship You, to experience joy in Your presence and inspire each other to give You praise, honor and glory. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen
