Youth-led Worship Service on Christmas Eve
We will be hosting our annual youth-led worship service at 9pm on Christmas Eve. We invite students in grades 6-12 to participate in leading worship. Students will serve as greeters, ushers, communion assistants, readers, read the prayers and perform one or more skits as the worship sermon.
All youth are invited to a planning session on Sunday, November 23 to discuss worship sermon skit ideas and decorate the Christmas Tree. We’ll start in Room 11 at 10:45am and move into the Sanctuary after the 2nd service dismisses.
I would love a parent to partner with me on this day. We’ll guide the students through skit selections, roles assigned and decorating the tree.
Winter Youth Retreat!
Our friends at Christ Lutheran in Harleysville have invited us to their annual Winter Retreat at Camp Men-o-Lan (1415 Doerr Rd, Quakertown). This is a single overnight stay in cabins, similar to our Bear Creek retreat. It starts at 5PM on a Friday evening and ends at 4PM on Saturday. For students grades 6-12. Price is $45 per student and $0 for a parent companion. If there is interest in attending, please contact Janet Hilsmier no later than Jan. 4th.

This year’s event will be hosted at Christ Lutheran in Harleysville in April (after Easter!) Start looking for an appliance box during the winter sales!
